I have read many of his works and as per my observation, he has done yeoman service in portraying the Sikh point-of-view and presenting interpretations of gurbani.

Very sad ... one of the last bastions of Punjabi literature has gone. How will the void be filled? Condolences to his loved ones and fans.

Sardar Kartar Singh was a legend. I had the opportunity to meet him just recently on a trip to India. A close friend's father took me to have a meeting with him. He presented me his latest book. "Dharmnirpakesh Dharm", but he immediate left as it was time for "Rehraas" (Sikh evening prayer). His son and wife entertained us. The man touched me with his discipline and dedication.
