Sikh Float In New Year’s Day Rose Bowl Parade Wins Award

The Sikh Float in the iconic Rose Bowl (“The Tournament of Roses”) Parade in Pasadena, California, USA on January 1, 2018 - this year, in its 129th annual manifestation, watched by hundreds of thousands lined along its route, and by millions around the world in more than 100 countries through live TV coverage - has once again received accolades for its design and vision.

Hosted by the United Sikh Mission and titled “Serving Kindness”, this year's theme was 'Langar'.

It was honoured with The Leishman Public Spirit Award for most outstanding floral presentation from a non-commercial participant.
