Wanted Models: Saabat Soorat Sikh Males For PhotoShoot For International Magazine

NOTICE

Photographer Timur Celikdag is currently casting 16-28 year-old male Sikh individuals for a photoshoot for an internationally renowned magazine.

It will be shot in a photography studio in central London and we will be happy to pay the model a little fee and all of your expenses for the day. We are prepared to fly them in from abroad if they do not live in the United Kingdom.

The portraits will be in the magazine and their name will clearly be credited.

They will also receive a digital file of their photos as well as a high quality print for them to keep. Also, the picture will not be
used for any commercial purposes and will only be published in this particular magazine.

The shoot will be on 1 day in late January, and on the same day they will be styled to go with the concept of the shoot. They will be wearing a designer suit and they will not have to cut their hair, clip or shave or change their appearance at all. Wearing a turban will fit in with the theme and is what we are looking for.

The project will basically be 6 pages of portraits in a fashion context, involving 1 Sikh guy wearing a designer suit. The portraits will be quite simple and easy, no experience is necessary. There won't be any text to go with the shoot apart from the credits with the model's name in of course.

Timur Celikdag is a renowned, award-winning photographer (www.timur-celikdag.com). His previous subjects include Leona Lewis, Oasis, Sebastien Chabal, and Karl Lagerfeld amongst others.

The magazine is distributed worldwide and ranks amongst the best fashion magazines in the world. Over the years it has established a reputation as a training ground for fresh talent, featuring celebrities, music, art and fashion. Cover stars have included Jay Z, Shakira, P Diddy, Victoria Beckham, Lily Allen, Leona Lewis, Sienna Miller and Mariah Carey. I'm afraid we can only disclose the title of the magazine to our shortist of candidates.

If you are interested and meet the criteria, please send us your contact details to casting@timur-celikdag.com , as well as a couple of snap shots to the same email address ASAP.

I compliment Timur for this wonderful idea. I'm sure he knows who we are. You have put a bracket on the age limit, otherwise with my salt-pepper beard I would have made a perfect model for his photography. Pity. Best of luck!

Sent mine too! One quick thought - I see here that a lot of us are interested. I would like to go one step further and ask my fellow Sardar veers - Guys, is there a way to organize or form a group within ourselves based on this hobby/ passion/ ambition? A platform to express thoughts, action-ize priorities. Perhaps the editor can facilitate such a discussion. Any takers?
