The latest issue of the BRICK Literary Magazine carries an essay by Canadian novelist Jaspreet Singh on his recollections of the anti-Sikh pogrom in India's capital, New Delhi, in 1984.
It appears under the title "8T4".
The magazine's June 2012 issue, "BRICK 89", has hit the news-stands this week.

The prestigious literary journal is inspired by renowned writer Michael Ondaatje ("The English Patient").

Jaspreet Singh is a novelist, essayist, short story writer and a former research scientist. His latest novel, Helium, will be published by Bloomsbury in 2013.
He is the author of the novel Chef (2008 Vehicule Press/2010 Bloomsbury), and Seventeen Tomatoes: Tales from Kashmir, a collection of linked stories.
