Newsweek: The Leader Other Leaders Love
by CHRISTOPHER DICKEY
India's Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, a sophisticated former economist, has played a key role in the country's emergence as one of the rising powers of the 21st century, engineering the transition from stagnant socialism to a spectacular takeoff in the global economy.
But it's Manmohan Singh's unassuming personal style that really inspires awe among his fellow global luminaries, who praise him for being modest, humble, and incorruptible.
As former International Atomic Energy Agency director-general and Egyptian presidential challenger Mohamed ElBaradei told me last spring, the soft-spoken Manmohan Singh is "the model of what a political leader should be."

Indeed one of the most inspiring leaders of this century! May God bless him.

I agree that Dr. Manmohan Singh is what a leader should be. Even though he has not been able to bring justice to his own Sikh community (but that is out of his hands anyway). I wish someone writes a biography of his life so future generations can read about his achievements and life.

How about getting an incorruptible leader for S.G.P.C.? Just like Manmohan Singh was brought in, we have to bring one in. Otherwise, we all know the story behind the elections.
